About the Teacher
Julia Hanssen (she/her) grew up dancing and competing in central Massachusetts training at MK Dance Center in Leominster, MA. She continued her dance career at Eastern Connecticut State University by dancing, choreographing, and serving on the executive board for Modern Movement. She graduated in 2025 with a biology degree and is currently working as a research associate studying diabetes. In addition to continuing her dance career with NEXT, she is back at her home studio instilling the love of dance into the next generation of dancers.
