What is the Conservatory Program?

 

The Conservatory Program at NEXT Dance Co is a structured, performance-based training experience designed for dancers ages 3 to18 seeking a more focused and professional environment. Through consistent weekly classes, repertory, and curated guest artist sessions, dancers build strong technical foundations while actively engaging in the creative process.

 

Rather than traditional recitals, the Conservatory Program emphasizes performance as part of training, allowing dancers to share works in progress, repertory, and evolving pieces through seasonal showcases.

Operating in direct connection with NEXT Dance Co, the Conservatory serves as the pipeline to the professional stage preparing dancers not just for class, but for performance, process, and a future within the NEXT ecosystem.
A true conservatory-style environment, without the traditional recital or costume model focused entirely on foundational training, technique, and artistry.

Training Levels:

Movement Foundations: Ages 3-4

Dance Foundations: Ages 5-6

Prep Track: Ages 7-10

Performance Track: Ages 10-14

Pre-Professional Track: Ages 15-18
